Mac's Celebri-tee brand designed by Catt Sadler

Can a t-shirt change the world?

Big words from a t-shirt web company.  Maybe it can't.  Maybe it will just change you.  And the people that see it.  And they will buy one.  And then other people will see it.  And then you'll blog about it.  And it becomes viral.  And then the media picks up your blog.  And they publish a story about you and your blog, and this t-shirt.  And soon, the world will notice a shirt that shouts out that YOU and the United States of America are both STILL the CHAMPION OF THE WORLD.  And that you both are a MASTERPIECE.

So, I guess it depends on you.  Can you change the world?  Do you want to change the world?  Do you have it in you?  That was our goal when we decided, two years ago, to create one t-shirt.  Not an entire line.  One shirt.  And here we are.

This tee was completely produced in the U.S.  The design was a collaboration between our lead designer, Chris Rush, and a good friend and Indy native Catt Sadler.  Catt, you rock.  Thanks a ton.

The story...

1.  The foundation of the concept was to create a completely custom t-shirt and use only U.S.-based companies and individuals.

2.  There was no deadline on the project.  We wanted to make the perfect t-shirt and would not allow time to alter this goal.  So, it took two years.

3.  The fabric was blended together to create a fit that literally conforms to your own body.  After a few washes, it will feel like a tailored shirt.

4.  The ink used on parts of the champion belt is a glitter style ink.

5.  The "masterpiece" design on the back of the tee is a dark foil on the men's tee and custom rhinestones on the women's.

6.  The logo patch on the sleeve is a completely separate piece.  We used a heat adhesive patch, a high-quality process so it won't come off after you wash it.

7.  The fabric under the arm of the men's tee is a thin thermal material.  It was dyed with the tees for color matching.

8.  The tag was written by me...sorry China.

9.  We decided not to use traditional size names because of the bad connotation associated with some of them (i.e. "large").  So, we used playing cards for sizes:

X-Small = Ten
Small = Jack
Medium = Queen
Large = King
X-Large = Ace
XX-Large = Joker

10.  Catt Sadler is as real as you can get.  She was nothing but gracious, easy to work with, tons of fun, very creative, and just a cool chick.  Read about her here:  www.cattsadler.com.
